… will definitely drive you insane.

How could it not?

What we don’t realize is that if we want something to be different, we have to do something differently — otherwise nothing changes.

There are no coincidences in life. If something is showing up again, it is a pattern that needs to be worked through, NOT repeated; so the universe obliges and gives you yet another opportunity to work through the same pattern in a DIFFERENT way.

How will you respond this time is the question?

Coming to the SAME conclusions and engaging in the SAME behaviors will keep you stuck in the SAME cycle of learning.

Break the pattern and chains that bind you. Identify the pattern that is showing up and show up differently in response to it. If you don’t like the outcomes you’ve been receiving, show up differently, take different actions and watch your outcomes naturally differ.

Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result is truly the definition of insanity. Learn to accept responsibility for you life. Learn to recognize your patterns and stop them in their tracks. Patterns are meant to be worked through, NEVER repeated. When you are ready to stop driving yourself crazy, a new life is ready to begin for you. What are you waiting for?

… casts you onto their stage.

And you don’t need to be on their stage.

Everyone has a story and drama queens’ stories tend to be intense, erratic and exhausting. They’re needing a different type of connection to you which they’re currently not getting, so they create a type of drama in order to elicit it from you.

Sometimes they create drama in romantic relationships as a means of getting your attention if they are feeling a lack of connection/emotion/communication, etc..

Sometimes they create drama at work or other situations as a means of distraction away from something they do NOT want YOU to see or a distraction away from something THEY do NOT want to see. Sometimes they do it to distract themselves away from doing their own personal work.

And sometimes they create drama just so that they can feel some type of aliveness energy. They tend to be very passionate people who need to feel and if the situation isn’t giving them a rush, they might create some type of drama so that they can feel some sort of exhilaration.

But regardless, drama queens own their stage and you don’t need to be on it. Life is too short to be living out someone else’s drama. Recognize when the drama is starting and learn to exit stage left as quickly as possible.

… even when you think it isn’t.

You may not understand WHY things happen the way they do in your life, but that doesn’t mean that they’re NOT purposeful.

Not everything that happens to you will make sense right away. In fact, in most cases, things that you deem “bad,” will turn out to be the very best things that ever happened to you. Why, you might ask? Because we never have full clarity in the moment. We never realize why things are happening the way they are because transition stirs up the dust so we cannot see clearly. But once the dust settles, we can see why we are, where we are, and it always make sense.

All you can do in life is chart a course and then stay that course. But that does not mean that you’ll NOT be detoured off that course. In other words, you can pick a path for yourself, but if it’s a path that you’re not meant to be on, you’ll be tossed off it and thrown onto a different path. And as traumatic as that transition is, it always lands you onto a much better path. Trust that.

Trust the process of your life. Things are always working out for you, even when you do not realize that they are. The universe works behind the scenes to bring you to exactly the right circumstances for you. You may not always get what you want, but you’ll always get what you need, whether or not you know you need it at the time. Everything is always working out for you, you’re never at a loss. Once you understand that, your life will change in the most amazing ways.

o-person-with-head-in-hands-in-black-and-white-facebook… only brings you DOWN.

Where else could it bring you?

Being hard on yourself doesn’t make your life easier, it complicates things because it puts yourself in YOUR OWN WAY.

Life presents many challenges and when you’re hard on yourself, you add more challenge onto your plate and it’s self-inflicted. And for what? To make life harder? Why fight yourself? Why not work WITH YOURSELF to find solutions instead?

Regret is useless. You cannot change the past. But you CAN learn from it’s wisdom and make your future better for it.

Don’t spend time getting caught up in focusing on your faults/mistakes. Get the lesson from them and get out. Move forward and make your life better because of them. Great wisdom only comes from those faults/mistakes; they make you better. But if you beat yourself up over them, you use them as a weapon to take yourself out. And why would you use the experience that made you better as an excuse to sabotage yourself?

Recognize that wisdom comes from our mistakes. Don’t spend time beating yourself up. Spend that time applying the learning and your life will blossom in the most amazing ways.

head-in-hands-300x200-1… carrying it with you, is.

We make mistakes everyday, it’s human nature. In fact it’s an important part of life because it leads to our transformation.

The problem is NEVER in making the mistake, it’s in REGRETTING the mistake versus moving on with its wisdom.

Regrets lead you nowhere. What’s done is done. Now you have the opportunity to apply the learning to move forward into a better life. Mistakes make you better. They teach you what you will never do again. They make you wiser and put you on a much better life trajectory.

But all too often we choose to focus our energies on regretting the very mistakes that were necessary for our growth. But regretting your mistakes will NEVER move you forward into a better future, it only keeps you stuck reliving your unfulfilling decisions – over and over again. And why would you want to do that?

Cut yourself a break. You’re human and you’re here to learn – mistakes are all part of that paradigm. You are who you are and you can only make the best decisions you can in that moment. Then you need to let go and NOT BEAT YOURSELF UP. Take the learning from the mistake and shut it down, then take that learning and make the rest of your life better for it. There isn’t any other way to live. Just know that making a mistake is NEVER the problem, carrying it with you, always is.

getting-knocked-down… get yourself right back up again.

It doesn’t matter WHO knocked you down, WHY they knocked you down or HOW they knocked you down, if you’re down, it’s your responsibility to get yourself back up. No one else can do it for you.

You may not be in control of getting knocked down, but you are certainly in control of staying there. Staying on the ground is a choice. And it’s a choice that will ALWAYS keep you down.

Don’t focus on the drama of being knocked down. It’s just a story you tell yourself. Learn to re-frame that story to find the empowerment behind it. Pick yourself up, pick up the pieces, and put them back together the best way you know how in that moment and keep moving forward.

Sitting on the ground in the rain, just gets you wet. Learn to pick yourself up and run for shelter. You just have to decide that you want better for yourself. Get up and give yourself half a chance to find it.

power_struggle…they are trying to pull themselves up to your level.

Because you have something they want and they are trying to compete for it.

It’s actually a sign of admiration.

But many of us fall into the drama of being “stabbed in the back” or “betrayed.” But it doesn’t have to be that way. You don’t have to become part of someone else’s “jealousy story.” You don’t have to own it. It’s not yours.

Just know that people who do not feel good about themselves will try and take you down. And sadly, anyone who tries to take you down doesn’t believe in their own ability to rise up. But you can’t change that for them.

If people try to tear you down, don’t fall into the drama of it, take it as the compliment it is and detach from their venom. In time, they will learn that they will NEVER get what they wish someone else didn’t have. In the interim, you’ll rise even higher when you learn to detach from their lower vibratory games.
