… grats you more.

When you’re grateful for what you have, you’re rewarded with more of it. This is because your attention to the positive aspects of life draw onto you more of the same.

But nobody teaches us that.

We’re so goal oriented that the focus tends to stay on what we do not have rather than relish what we do have, and subsequently because our focus is on the lack of what we desire, we only succeed in creating more of it. 

You can’t get to what you want by focusing on what you don’t. Learn to practice gratitude for what you have and it’ll continue to bring more of the same. Like attracts like — happy and fulfilled always brings more happiness and fulfillment. How could it not?

Take back control over your thoughts. Focusing on what you don’t have doesn’t bring it quicker. It only keeps it from you. 

By practicing gratitude, it’ll grat you even more than you desire. It’s not about NOT having what you want, it’s about being grateful for what you have.

ALWAYS.

The name of the game is “boundaries.” Giving is a beautiful thing but if you GIVE TOO MUCH, there will always be an expectation for that level of giving. And if you are giving too much without giving to yourself, you will be depleting your own resources. So who wins here? Is it the one who plays the martyr and gives everything away and loses themselves in the process? No. In fact no one wins.

Any relationship is about balance – that goes for love relationships, parent-child relationships, working relationships, etc. Giving and receiving must be in equal measure. If you are giving to yourself while receiving from others, you are in beautiful place to give to others. But as soon as the balance of power shifts and everything is given to the other, then you are left with nothing and feel consequently exhausted, depleted, depressed, resentful and angry. But who set it up that way? No one took anything from you that wasn’t on offer. 

If you are unhappy with what you are receiving from others, STOP GIVING. Define your boundaries and express yourself. People respect people who respect themselves. People walk on doormats because they are put out for just that purpose. If you need more from someone, giving more to them will NOT get you there. Time to pull it back and put that energy into yourself. When you give to you, you have more to give to others. And when you give to you, others will recognize and respect that they need to give to you in order to continue to receive what they need from you. This is the essence of a healthy, balanced relationship.

No sense in being angry with your situation. You are where you are because you’ve allowed it. Giving and receiving must be in equal measure, if it’s not, it’s time to make another decision.

i-want-more-111795-530-530… makes sure you’ll NEVER get it.

It’s the wanting that creates all our problems. It’s OK to strive for more, but it is not OK to allow yourself to feel less than whole because of the absence of something in your life.

When you feel as if something is missing in your life, you create a state of lack and that state of lack has a very low vibration and that low vibration will continue to attract more low vibrational outcomes. If you focus on what it is you do not have instead of focusing your energy on appreciating all that you do have, then you are sacrificing your vibrational output.

And why is that vibrational output so important? Because the universe can only read the vibration that you are putting out there and send it back to you as your next experience. So if you are sending out “lack” and “wanting” and “needing,” then the universe can only take a picture of all that and send it right back to you as your next experience. So when you feel needy and want more, you only create a situation where you attract more “needing” and more “wanting” for yourself. This process unfortunately does not create more “having.” Having is considered “abundance” and thus a positive vibration.

Again, it is fine to strive for more in life – to achieve greater heights, but do so from a place of empowerment. See your life as already rich and exercise gratitude for all that you do have and from that positive vibration is the place where MORE will be given to you. Remember lack does not produce abundance. Gratitude and abundance create more abundance. Which state would you prefer to cultivate in your life?

grateful… brings you MORE of what you WANT.

Believe it or not.

It’s very simple, you do not get more of what you want until you can fully appreciate the beauty that you currently hold. There is great richness in every one of our lives but it gets clouded over when there is something out of reach that we long for.

The act of “wanting” creates a strong position of lack in our lives. The act of “gratitude” creates a strong position of abundance.

When we feel incomplete without a certain person or material object, we are telling the universe that we are NOT WHOLE – that we are somehow less than we would like to be. The universe acknowledges that inadequacy and mirrors back to you more situations that will support your current state of lack.

But when you can express gratitude for what you currently have (especially if it doesn’t seem like much), the universe will read that as abundance and will continue to fill you up with more than you could ever ask for.

To be grateful for whatever it is that you have is to tell the universe that you DESERVE the abundance given to you and that you are worthy of more beauty – hence it will always make its way to you.

You will NEVER get what it is you want if you feel as if you don’t already have it. So fill yourself up with what you do have.

A lush summer garden in bloom will always attract more attention and support then will a barren desert plot of the same size. Are you a garden in bloom or are you a barren desert? Your hope of growing roses only exists if you create that garden. The choice is always yours.
