… you can see where you are.

When you are surrounded by others, your view is blocked.

I used to think I knew who I was and how I fit into the whole when I lived in NYC, but in reality, I couldn’t see anything.

When you are alone, you have clear sight. But when you are surrounded by others, your view becomes muddied. It’s muddied because you only see yourself as a reflection of someone else. You do not have true clarity. True clarity only comes when you only see you. Anyone else around you is just a distraction from you knowing yourself.

Most of us never know who we truly are. We are too busy competing with others around us (on social media) trying to prove to ourselves that we are better than them. But when you are constantly comparing yourself to those around you, you lose a bit of yourself. You turn that energy over to others and no longer have access to it. You give them your power. And why would you do that? Why would you not keep the integrity of your own power?

People can become distractions, albeit beautiful distractions, to us finding our way in the world. If you truly want to know yourself, step away from the crowd. You are not them. You will just get swallowed up and lost in that crowd.

Being alone is a chance to re-align yourself to who you truly are. When you no longer have the distractions of others, you can better see where you are headed.

… there are only different experiences.

Bet you didn’t know that?

Many of us labor over making decisions for fear of making a mistake. But that’s the problem. We think it’s safer to sit it out and wait for clarity, but it’s not. Hesitation breeds stagnancy and decision breeds flow. So, it almost doesn’t matter what decisions you make, it just matters that you make them and continue to move through your life.

There are no guarantees in life, there are only varied experiences. You are meant to flow through a series of experiences and garner the wisdom from them. Those experiences are what make you who you are. The process of choosing is the process of life and the act of choosing requires a process of flow.

This process of flow requires you to moveMomentum is the key. Once you are in action, the universe can steer you towards the outcome that is aligned for you, but if you sit it out on the bench, you become inert and stuck/stagnant so change can never come in. Everyone needs to flow; if you sit still, you block your progress by blocking the process.

It helps to know that it doesn’t matter what path you choose, all that matters is that you get onto one. Once in motion, the universe can guide you towards your highest timeline. But you must be in motion. The only thing the universe cannot do is pull you up off your bench; it cannot intervene in your free will.

You gotta be in it to win it. It never matters what choices you make, all that matters is that you make choices and move through the game of your life. There are no mistakes, only different experiences. Are you flowing through your life and moving through your experiences or are you blocking your own progress?

… is just a measure of our own incompleteness.

Attacking others for not being what we think they should be to be “better, different or inclusive” is a misguided effort to heal the collective. The collective of humanity only heals when each individual soul experiences its own healing. When we feel the need to make others wrong, we only succeed in fractalizing our own incompleteness.

The way you view another soul is indicative of how you view yourself. If you are filled with love and self-respect, it is impossible to see venom and hate in others. Judgment is a study in the personification of the self. It’s only when we fully accept ourselves that we begin to heal our wounds. And once the healing has begun, we find little reason to make others wrong. Instead, we find every reason to make ourselves even better.

Everyone is here to work through their own personal judgments, but in numerology, those born under the #6 have the greatest life lesson in judgment of self + judgment of others. It is one of the more complex and difficult life lessons to identify because these souls are dedicated to a path of personal growth. They are on a path towards perfection but they can get lost and misguided in their expectations of themselves and others. They can get caught in their own ideals of perfection versus their own personal perfection. We see this these days with “virtue signaling.” Virtue signaling is not virtuous, it is righteous. It is a covert judgment

… don’t back away from them.

Why doesn’t anyone ever teach us that in kindergarten? It’s really a quantum computation. If you lean into a pressurized field, you can puncture that field and move through it. But no one ever teaches us that. The energy fields that surround us create our reality and the ways in which we manipulate those fields determine the outcomes we receive.
.
If you stand up to the difficulties, you will transmute them into the next level of progress. But if you step back from them (so they don’t hurt as much), you will encourage resistance amongst the difficulties and therefore things will get progressively more challenging for you.
.
It’s like being in a pool. If you’re going down, it’s better to go ALL THE WAY DOWN and HIT ROCK BOTTOM because when you do, you spring off of it and come up to the light of day much quicker. But if you don’t want to hit rock bottom, and try to avoid it, you will be hanging around the dark murky depths of the pool for a very long time living a much darker reality. Which do you prefer?
.
The secret to life is to lean into the challenges, not step back from them. We’re here to move through levels of HUMAN PROGRESS and the more levels you face, the more you will get through and the higher your rewards. Ready to play?

… you have to go through it.

But no one wants to go through pain to transcend it. As humans, we prefer to bypass the pain and take the easy way out. Ironically though, the easy way out in life is never easier; it’s actually much harder. It may feel easier at the onset, but it becomes far more complex and painful as time goes on.

There is no way to transcend something painful without fully going into it. You have to get into the belly of the beast in order to invert it. Many who do not want to hit rock bottom will linger in the shadows of the dark end of the pool for decades, trying to avoid their fate. The brave of us know that to come back up into the light, we have to first bottom out; we have to hit rock bottom so we can spring off of it and rise to the surface even faster.

As humans, we are all here to transcend our lives, not collapse into them. But we will never transcend what we will not allow ourselves to face and work through. Your pain is fuel for transformation. You cannot sit on the sidelines of your life and evolve. Transcendence doesn’t work that way.

Running from the storms of your life doesn’t heal you. Learning to dance in the rain is the only way to push through those storms and transform the experience. It’s a metaphor for life… in order to transcend the storm, you have to go through it, and know that just beyond the pain and drama, through it to the other side, the sun is always shining and waiting to embrace you. It can be no other way.

… it’s about exploring all the options.

Life is an experience experiment.

You are not meant to have all the answers, you are meant to explore different dimensions of yourself. If you had all the answers upfront, you would have nothing to experience and therefore no way to evolve. Continually seeking satisfaction continually enables your evolution.

We get caught up in wanting all the answers. But if you had all the answers it would mean that there was nothing left to seek and no aspects of yourself left to explore. You cannot know where you are going until you are there. Answers come from experience and if you don’t have the answer, you’re not there yet.

Life isn’t about knowing all the outcomes, it’s about exploring all the options. If you’re looking for answers, stop asking the questions. Live your life and the answers will find you.

… it’s always taking you somewhere else.

Life is an uphill climb and it’s made up of many steps. There is no single step that is ever going to be forever. So why allow yourself to get tripped up over the step you’re on?

You’re never meant to get stuck on a step and you’re never meant to skip steps. Life moves in phases and when you’re finished with one step, it’s time to take the next one. But many of us get disheartened because we are unhappy with the step we’re on. It’s ok to dislike the step you’re on, you’re not meant to be on it forever — just keep climbing — you’re always on your way somewhere else and that step is a necessary evil in getting you there.

… generates very different outcomes.

Fear and uncertainty are very different emotions and therefore create very different realities. Fear and uncertainty both represent a future that is unknown, but they will create very different futures based on their vibrational feedback.

Fear recognizes that the future is unknown yet anticipates the worst possible scenario and then stands back and activates it.

Uncertainty also recognizes that the future is unknown yet holds the possibility that it might still yield a positive outcome.

Uncertainty offers options for growth while fear assumes the worst.

It’s ok to be cautious of the unknown, but it is never ok to fear it. Fear gives you no options — it’s  a death sentence. Recognize that the future is unknown but DON’T LABEL IT as fear; REDEFINE IT as uncertainty.

Fear guarantees that that which you fear will ultimately reappear in your life. Uncertainty helps talk you off the ledge and encourages you to see the potential for positive outcomes.

… who are you vibing with?

Everything is energy. Like attracts like. Nothing and no one ever shows up outside of us that doesn’t match where we are within ourselves.

The energy you are putting out into the world is constantly attracting people and situations who match that vibration. So if you’re feeling happy and positive, you’ll notice that the world outside you seems hopeful and exciting and if you’re feeling sad and negative, the world outside you tends to feel a bit more challenging and bleak.

You are creating that. It’s NOT happening TO YOU.

You’re never a victim of your life. You’re always in control of it. Your experiences are just a reflection of your inner state of being. Do you want your life to look better? Start cultivating better feeling thoughts about it. You can’t get to a better life by focusing on what’s wrong with this one. But we do it everyday. We complain and whine about the injustices around us and wonder why they only get worse.

Your vibe attracts your tribe. It attracts the people and situations that make up your life. If you’re unhappy with your life, your life will never make you happy. Find a reason to be happy with your life, and it’ll give you every reason to be happy.

… requires a mid-course correction.

A mid-life crisis can happen at any age, but the wisdom here is that the secret to healing it, is in the way we define it.

Life naturally has its ups and downs, and life is constantly asking you to define who you are in relationship to it. You’re never in a crisis, you’re only ever at a crossroads. You’re always being given a chance to PIVOT yourself away from what is not working and towards something that will.

Don’t fall into the drama of the crisis. Recognize that it reflects a crossroads for you. You get to evaluate your position and choose your next step. You are never stuck and you are never a victim of your circumstances. If you are unhappy where you are, make a move. Recognize that you’re always in control of your life; your life is NEVER in control of you.

You’re not having a midlife crisis, you just need to make a midcourse correction. Crossroads are always there to give you the opportunity to trade up. Are you ready for something new? The universe is waiting to give it to you.
