… are opposite sides of the spectrum of human experience.

Love is the natural innate response of humanity and hate is conditioned by a society. When a human loves themselves and respects themselves and respects the world around them, hate cannot exist within their cypher. But when a soul does not know how to love or respect themselves or love/respect the world around them, they are easily programmable by a societal machine driven by hate.

How do you know the difference? Love has nothing to prove whereas hate has everything to prove.

Hate wants to prove that it is better than you.

Hate wants to prove that you are less than.

Hate wants to prove that you are wrong.

Hate wants to prove that you are evil, selfish, narcissistic, malevolent — all mirrors of it’s own dark shadow.

Hate is filled with anger and it is easily triggered by love.

and

Hate parades itself as love. It isn’t genuine to the human soul so it pretends to be something it is not.

Love has no agenda. It has nothing to prove. It isn’t filled with venom and fake virtue. It just is. It allows for everyone to stand together despite their differences and it allows everyone to just be and to be in their own consciousness while they are growing, learning and unraveling their own karma without judgment of themselves or others. Love and hate are opposite sides of the spectrum of human experience. Where do you dwell these days? #belove

… are diametrically opposed.

The virtuous are naturally honorable. They operate for the betterment of others and for the world around them. They uphold values that reflect their high morals and integrity. They operate under a ‘service to others’ operandi. And most importantly, they do not seek recognition for their values. They do the right thing because it’s the right thing to do. They ARE the virtue they hold; it comes naturally from within themselves.

The righteous want to be seen as honorable. They operate for the betterment of themselves. They uphold values that are seen as moral and uphold a value system that is validated by a given group or ideology. These people operate purely as ‘service to self’ and ultimately seek validation and recognition outside themselves for upholding these values. They have a need to prove to others that the values they hold are held in high regard. Their validation comes from outside themselves; it comes from consensus and group think.

The virtuous have nothing to prove to others, whereas the righteous feel the need to convince you of the validity of their position.

The virtuous has no need to be seen as “right” in the eyes of others whereas the righteous need the validation of others in order to feel as if they are living right.

The virtuous respect and accept all beings for who they are, regardless of their opinions or means of expression, whereas the righteous will only accept you if you are beholden to the values they espouse.

Where do you fall along the spectrum? What is your motivation for the values you hold? These days our society is trending with ‘virtue signaling’ behavior. Is that virtuous or is it righteous? You decide.

… this moment has every answer you will ever need.

As humans, most of us get caught up in the “mousewheel of life.” We go on auto-pilot and end up in an endless wheel of routine where we don’t even feel life anymore. We rush and rush and rush to end up in yet the same place. And what’s it all for? Why all the rushing? Where are we trying to get to?

It’s about security and safety. We are always trying to get answers to our future and where we’re headed. But the future doesn’t have your answers, the answers are in this present moment. It’s just that most humans are never conscious in the present moment and so they miss all the subtle signs and synchronicities that would direct them to the optimal next step. When you’re sleep walking your way through your life and chasing a future moment, you miss all the richness and gifts that are waiting for you in this present moment.

Time is speeding up these days and when you’re not present in this moment, but chasing a future moment, you will never get caught up with yourself. The future can’t help you because you’re not there yet. But if you slow down and pay attention to your life in this moment, you will hear what it has to tell you. The secrets to your future are right in front of you. When you are fully present to the magic in this moment, you will be delivered to a future moment that is truly magical.

… they make us better.

In fact, those bad times make us stronger, wiser and smarter. They push us to expand beyond our horizons and develop new skill sets. They don’t allow for complacency. They demand transformation.

The bad times are indeed the best times, but unfortunately many people only appreciate the good times. They want things to be easy and laced with rainbows and butterflies. But rainbows and butterflies don’t promote growth, they reward it.

Many of us shut down in the face of bad times. We numb ourselves from having to face the pain. But that only succeeds in keeping us stuck in a numbing void where we never grow.

Transformation is the path forward and although everyone wants to be transformed to some extent, no one wants to go through the pain of the transformational process. It’s never easy and generally requires sitting into the pain until it can be transmuted into higher frequencies.

The next time you want to feel victimized because you are stuck in some bad times, remember that the bad times are actually the best times, they make us stronger, better and wiser. They push us to become the being we are here to become. They push us to see what we are capable of. And the good times? Well, they are just the rewards for having done the work. Game on.

challenges the fabric of who you are.

Imposter syndrome only challenges those who are brave enough to take themselves out of the matrix. Those are the individuals who no longer want to work for the corporate machine. They are those who know their hearts and know that their life’s work is higher than sitting in an oppressed cubicle day in and day out.

These beings take a chance on themselves.

They follow a higher calling.

They risk putting their reputations on the line.

They risk financial ruin.

Why?

Because they believe in something higher. Those who dream about being something greater in the world or contributing something greater to the world are those who are susceptible to imposter syndrome. Those who dream and aim higher, soar. Those who accept the status quo, stay safe but never rise into their highest potential.

You only doubt yourself when you challenge the system. Everyone feels like an imposter when they are trying to break out of a mold that suffocates them.

You have to really believe in yourself to go to bat for yourself. You have to be willing to fight the notion that you are somehow less than someone else who doesn’t bat for themselves.

Imposter syndrome challenges the very fabric of who you are. Down to the core. If you’re not strong enough to believe in yourself, you will never step into greatness. Imposters buck the system and take it down so they can create their own place within it. We are all secretly imposters who are trying to create something out of nothing and we only feel like imposters because it has never been done before the way we are doing it. And because we know that the something we are creating is something the world has been waiting for. #beanimposter

… but not everyone wants to go through the pain of transformation.

Funny how that works.

It’s human nature to want to become the very best version of ourselves — to be “transformed” virtually overnight. But life doesn’t work that way. The path of transformation is long and hard. Ask the caterpillar in the cocoon… just when his struggle hits its peak and he is in the darkest muck possible, a space where he cannot take one more breath and cannot move one more inch, he is finally released, and his beautiful wings take flight, beginning a new chapter.

No one gets transformed without going into the darkest of their darkness. After all, in order to be transformed, there has to be something you are transforming. Darkness is often transformed into light, but in order to stand in the light, you have to be willing to come through the darkness and shift it. The darkness doesn’t shift on its own.

You cannot avoid the dark if you want to transform it. Quite the contrary, you have to face it and go deeply into it if you want to transform it into light. No one can personally become transformed if they haven’t first gone deeply into their own darkness, met it, danced with it and made peace with it. This is the process of transformation.

Everyone wants to be transformed, but not everyone wants to go through the pain of transformation. That’s the problem on our planet these days. Transformation is not for the faint of heart. It is only available to those who are brave and to those who are willing to go deeply into their darkness, bottom out there and rise up out of the ashes into light. It’s a humbling process and one which will gut you, but it will absolutely leave you fully transformed.

… it’s in learning what that person came to teach you.

But no one ever teaches us that.

Why do we make it all about the other person? It doesn’t matter what that person does to you or what that person says to you/doesn’t say to you — however unpleasant the circumstances may be. It only matters what you learn from that person and how you make your life BETTER because of them.

We tend to get caught up in the drama-trauma zone of our lives and we become the victims of what others do/say to us. But it can never be about them. Our lives are ABOUT US and if those people are in our lives, we should only be interested in the affect their presence has over us.

When we learn that no one has control over our lives unless we give it, everything shifts for us.

Remember in life, it’s never about a person, they are just the relationship villain in place to teach you something about yourself. It’s about what you take away from that person that makes all the difference in the world. Get the lesson and get out; make your life better because they were in it.

… does NOT lead to success.

Action born out of inspiration, does.

As humans we try and muscle our way through life. We force actions and we force our agenda onto our own timelines and we wonder why the actions we take do not yield the desired outcomes we seek.

If you do not feel inspired to take an action, don’t take it. Wait on it. Not feeling inspired to take an action is a clear indication that you are not aligned with the action you need to take. Take a time out —  take a reset — go take a nap  — go for a walk in nature — go seek some inspiration. Once you find a bit of inspiration, you will align with your higher guidance and then you will naturally be called to take the exact actions that will yield the desired outcomes you seek.

It’s an inspiration game. Action alone will not yield success. Action that is born out fear, anxiety, desperation or struggle will be met with much resistance. This is because action can only take you so far in life. It’s a lower dimensional means of manifestation.

When an action comes from a place of passion, excitement, enthusiasm and inspiration, it will energetically charge the action that you are taking and thus yield the positive outcome you seek.

Vibration trumps action. If the energy behind the action is not igniting the action, it will fall flat. Action born out of struggle never leads to success. If struggle is behind your action, it’s destined to follow in that direction. Never force anything. If you don’t feel inspired, don’t do it. Wait until the moment of inspiration comes. Save your energy — once you’re sufficiently inspired, you can channel that energy into your action and watch the magic unfold.

… generates very different outcomes.

Fear and uncertainty are very different emotions and therefore create very different realities. Fear and uncertainty both represent a future that is unknown, but they will create very different futures based on their vibrational feedback.

Fear recognizes that the future is unknown yet anticipates the worst possible scenario and then stands back and activates it.

Uncertainty also recognizes that the future is unknown yet holds the possibility that it might still yield a positive outcome.

Uncertainty offers options for growth while fear assumes the worst.

It’s ok to be cautious of the unknown, but it is never ok to fear it. Fear gives you no options — it’s  a death sentence. Recognize that the future is unknown but DON’T LABEL IT as fear; REDEFINE IT as uncertainty.

Fear guarantees that that which you fear will ultimately reappear in your life. Uncertainty helps talk you off the ledge and encourages you to see the potential for positive outcomes.

… is only helpful to the extent it allows you to move forward into your future.

If it doesn’t, it keeps you back.

Your life is only ever in front of you, never behind you. The past can be an informative tool if we don’t get trapped in it.

If you want to uncover the root of the problem, go to the source, but don’t stay there very long. You may forget why you went there. It’s very easy to get sucked into the pain of the past and by doing so, lose your footing along the path of your future.

Don’t look back, you’re not going that way, but if you need to get closure, look back for only as long as you can get the valuable learning from the experience. Get the lesson and get out — a better future is always waiting for you to apply the wisdom of the past.
