… only brings you more of it.

When our thoughts are focused on a person or a situation that is upsetting to us, we continue to attract more of the same.

You get what you think about whether you want it or not, so if there is something in your life that is not working/not making you happy, do not feed it any attention. Take your focus off of it and put it into something that feels slightly better. And if nothing feels better, make it up — even better.

Your thoughts fuel your experiences. So if your thoughts are not what you want to be experiencing, stop them in their tracks before they gain momentum and start manifesting in your life. You are in control of your life. Your thoughts are NOT in control of you. You are the thinker, learn to change the thoughts that create your future.

The road to your future is paved by the thoughts you are thinking in this moment. You can’t get to a better life by focusing on what is wrong with this one. You can only get a better life by visualizing a better scenario for yourself.

Focusing on what you don’t want, only brings you more of it. If you want something different, think a different thought and watch how it magically manifests in your life.

… makes things harder then they need to be.

No one is saying don’t work hard, but there is a tipping point where trying too hard and pushing against resistance creates more problems.

How do you know when “working hard” becomes “trying too hard”?

When it ceases to be enjoyable.

When you feel like your efforts are going nowhere.

When you find you are hitting your head on the same wall over and over again and it is still not yielding.

When the frustration and stagnation of the current stasis has sufficiently depleted you.

If something is not coming together, there is usually a reason why – and that reason is always valid. Resistance on your path is very purposeful. It keeps you from progressing further in a given direction. Recognize that the resistance is there to help you, not hurt you. Pushing against the resistance makes things harder then they need to be. By pushing your agenda forward, you are complicating your life.

Don’t make your life harder then it needs to be. Be careful what you wish for, you just might get it. And in time you’ll realize that you never really wanted it.

… they will run away with you.

And they will not return you to a better place.

Fears, like most negative emotions, have a very low vibration. This means that they have the propensity to manifest very quickly. So, if you put your energy into something you’re fearful of, you will only succeed in bringing it into your existence.

Fear is a perception-based reality. What you fear to be real, will be real for you. It’s all based on your perception. The way you look at things determines how those things play out for you. Speaking in front of 100 people, do you let yourself feel pangs of anxiety and panic or do you translate those nerves into excitement and adrenaline rush? What you perceive to be real will indeed be real for you.

Instead of feeding feelings of fear, why not try and re-interpret those feelings so to empower yourself? When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change and your life changes along with it.

Fear stops you from living. It robs you of your life. It keeps you small and robs you from having experiences. Take back your life, re-interpret those feelings of fear so you can explore deeper levels of yourself.

Fear keeps you stuck. Be brave, re-interpret your fear to uncover the empowerment. It’s always there, it’s just a matter of perception. If you let your fears run your life, they will run away with you and where will that leave you?    It’s your life, take back your power — stop feeding fear and start feeding your life again.

worry… practically guarantees that it will happen.

Worry is a useless emotion — it’s about fearing a negative outcome of a future event.

At its essence, worry is about using your imagination to create something YOU DO NOT WANT. 

Your imagination is meant to be used to create the life of your dreams but instead we use it to create obstacles to our own happiness.

You get what you focus on, whether you want it or not. If you are focused on the fear of a negative outcome of a future event, you are feeding energy into the potentiality of that outcome. In other words, you do not get WHAT YOU WANT by focusing on WHAT YOU DON’T WANT. 

If you are repeatedly focusing your energy on WHAT YOU DO NOT WANT, you are telling the universe to “bring it on.” Why put your energy there? Why not put your energy into the potentiality of a successful outcome?

When you feed fear, you undue yourself. When you feed success, you make it a reality.

Worry is learned behavior and can just as easily be un-learned. Worrying about something guarantees that it will happen. Take back your power and put it into the anticipation of a positive outcome of a future event and allow that outcome to manifest. Why would you want it any other way?

jake_edit… it’s NEVER in control of you.

We just forget that.

NO ONE and NOTHING has control over your life unless you give it to them. And why would you do that?

Your power is yours and it rests in your ability to focus your mind. Thoughts are powerful and your thoughts create your experiences. If you are unhappy with your current experience, CHANGE YOUR THOUGHT, and watch your experience change along with it.

Where you put your thoughts, you get more of. So ask yourself what you are focusing on? If it isn’t making you happy, TAKE YOUR FOCUS OFF OF IT and put it into a thought that feels slightly better. In record time, you’ll move the energy away from negative experiences and towards a new world of happier, more positive experiences.

Wherever you put your energy, you get more of. Ask yourself if you actually want it. If not, work to alter your thoughts so that you can create the life of your dreams. You can always have whatever it is you want in life, you just have to be able to align your thoughts with that highest vision while shutting out any other possibility.

You’re always in control of your life, it’s never in control of you. You get what you think about, whether you want it or not. Start consciously focusing your thoughts on the life of your dreams and it can only become a reality. What are you waiting for?

Yes, it is just that simple. Your thoughts determine your reality. What you think, you create, whether you want it or not.

The only way towards pure happiness is to focus your intent on finding happiness in your life. If your life is filled with thoughts of sadness and despair, you will never find it.

You get what you focus on, so if you are focused on negative thoughts, those are the thoughts that become activated within you and then those are the thoughts that in turn create your reality. Because our lives always follow our thoughts, it’s important to steer them in the right direction.

Life never happens to you, it happens by you. You’re co-creating every moment with every thought you expend. If thoughts are troubling you, STOP THEM and replace them with happier thoughts. Your attention to your happier thoughts ultimately create a happier environment which magnify happier circumstances directly into your life.

Do you want be happy? Stop feeding thoughts that make you unhappy. Just focus your attention on thoughts that make you happy and that which makes you happy will be brought right to you. Focusing on better feeling thoughts always creates better feeling experiences. When you are ready to focus on happy thoughts, the universe is ready to send you those happier experiences.

th… because you’re always on your way somewhere else.

In other words, where you are is always just a stop over to where you want to be. It’s part of the process of exploring who you are.

Finding yourself is a lifelong process – you are on a journey – one step at a time. And during that journey, you never stay anywhere very long. You only stay long enough to learn something new. That is because the nature of life is to change and evolve. So recognize that where you are in your life is NEVER permanent, therefore don’t get caught up in the drama of not being exactly where you want to be. There is always something new waiting around the corner for you.

Life can change on a dime. No sense in beating yourself up for not having everything that you want in this moment. In due time, you’ll have all the experiences that you need to help you find who you are.

Look at it this way, life is like a planned holiday to 5 different European cities. You’ve carefully planned this itinerary (of life) before you were born. Just because you do not like city #1 doesn’t mean you have to shut down and get frustrated because you are not yet at city #4. You can sit back and appreciate city #1 for what it gives you, knowing that you are moving on in the next day or so. Remember that in your life, you will always have more cities to explore. You are never finished exploring cities until you are finished exploring your life.

You are where you are and that’s ok. You are always just passing through and if where you are doesn’t feel good, know that you are on your way to something much bigger and better. You just need to allow yourself to get there. Don’t stay stuck in city #1 feeling bad for yourself. Know that the journey of exploration is ahead of you. Learn what you can from this moment and recognize that you do not have to stay in this place. You want to explore the other 4 cities, don’t you? Just because you are not there yet, doesn’t mean those cities don’t exist. Trust that they are ahead of you and pick yourself up out of the city that you are done with and find the strength to move forward. The rest of your life is ALWAYS ahead of you. On to the next city of your life!
