… one after another.

A moment in time is NEVER forever. A moment can change you and then it leaves you. Nothing ever stays the same; life is always in a constant state of flux.

Moments are fleeting – they can be special or they can be painful, but they cannot be forever — they’re always meant to be moved through and replaced by a new moment.

Don’t get attached to a happy moment, it is not here to stay. And don’t get attached to a unhappy moment, it’s always on its way out.

Every moment is an opportunity for transformation. Every moment gives you a chance to recreate yourself anew — and then that moment is gone.

You’re also never trapped in a moment — if a moment in your life makes you unhappy, know that it will soon be over. That’s the beauty of the moment — you’re never where you are for very long.

Life is just a string of moments. No matter what the moment brings you — know that it’ll never last forever. Give gratitude for it and be patient with it. A new moment is coming, a new opportunity is dawning and a new chance to begin again is on its way.

… it’s about MAKING the time.

Time has an elusive quality — we never seem to have enough of it and we always seem to be chasing it. But little do we know — time is malleable and can be manipulated.

The most important thing to note is that — It’s not about the time; it’s about the moment. This is what we tend to lose sight of. The moment has everything you’ll ever need and when you’re in the moment, time expands — it seemingly lasts forever. Anyone who has ever stared at a clock for 15 minutes can tell you that.

But we never live in the moment. We happen to be in a moment but we are never really present to it — our minds are projecting us into the next future moment and the next and so on. So we never get to experience the depth and richness of that moment and therefore it quickly passes us by.

If we could learn that time is about being in a moment, not doing something in that moment, then we would find that we feel less rushed and less hurried and our experience of time would slow down. This is because time is an experience of being, not doing or achieving.

But many of us don’t want to be present to our lives because we don’t want to feel emotion, so it’s just easier to fill our schedules with things to do and subsequently we run out of time to do it.

Learn to look at your life differently — learn to be in the moment and feel it for everything it is offering you and let it transform you. You will soon come to see that life isn’t about finding the time to do things, it’s about making the time to be — be with yourself and be with others. When you can make that time to be present in the moment, you’ll have all the time in the world to do everything you need to do in every moment.

on-time… it moves in ITS OWN TIME.

Things naturally happen in their own time on planet Earth. Every person you meet, every situation you encounter comes about WHEN IT’S TIME. And it’s NOT up to you to change that.

Time is a mastermind of orchestration — it culls together the necessary events and people of your life and creates the most beautiful tapestry of life experience.

But here’s the deal… timing has to be right or the tapestry will lack a necessary link or loop. Often times we push time and end up with a scenario that is “half-baked” — lacking a necessary link that we were unable to patiently wait for — and that NEVER serves us.

Time cannot be rushed. Time needs to be respected. Anything that is worth having is worth waiting for.

You can’t rush your life. You don’t want to rush your life. Rushing time has its own grave implications. Be careful what you wish for, for if you rush the time it takes to get there, you’ll get it where it is, NOT where it’s supposed to be.

What’s meant for you will make its way to you in time. Patience is everything. Trust the process of your life and know that the life you want comes about precisely on time. It can NEVER be rushed.

images… so you can proceed with caution.

Not everything in our lives is meant to happen instantaneously. Some situations take time to cultivate. But in our society we are so trained in instant gratification that when things don’t go according to our plan, we get frustrated and anxious and impatient and try to force situations to come about unnaturally.

It is important to note that on our planet everything works on its own timeline and NOTHING can be rushed. The universe maintains perfect time management in terms of bringing you the situations you need, exactly when you need them. There is no room for negotiation here. As we know, things happen for a reason and they happen when they are supposed to.

So, why is it that we encounter speed bumps in our lives? Why doesn’t everything happen when we want it to? The answer is easy. When you hit a speed bump, it is an enforced period of reflection & analyses where you are being asked to proceed forward with caution. In essence, you are being held back from what you think you want/need and are being asked to evaluate the situation and your role within it. Are you sure you are ready to go there? Do you have all the tools you need in place to manage that next step? Is this opportunity truly going to meet your needs? Have you considered other possibilities? These are all reasons why we hit speed bumps – it is a built-in process to protect us from jumping into situations that might NOT be right for us.

The road ahead is always uncertain, but you can be certain that when you hit a speed bump, you are being asked to slow down and process the direction you are heading. If the path ahead was clear for you, you wouldn’t hit a speed bump. Heed the warning and use the time to evaluate what’s ahead of you. You might decide you don’t even want to be on that road. Speed bumps are the disruptions that bring ultimate clarity.

sadness_149… brings you to where you do.

We can’t all be exactly where we want to be when we want to be there. Life is a process. Suffice to say that the way to get to where you want in life is to live exactly where you are in the moment. One step in front of the other brings you to your destination. It can be no other way.

But in life, we seek instant gratification. We prefer to skip steps in the process of our lives because we feel that the destination is more important. The destination is never more important than is the journey to self-awareness.

Being where you don’t want to be in life is a critical part of the process of getting to where you DO want to be. Learning the lesson in that moment is the key to unlocking the next phase of your life. If you spend your time crying and lamenting where you are, you haven’t learned those lessons. If you empower yourself to keep walking and learn from where you are, the doors to your future open almost instantaneously.

You can get to wherever you want in life from right where you are. In fact, it is spiritual law. There is no other way of getting there. It is all about doing the work. Recognize that you are where you are in your life for a reason and when you learn certain lessons, you will be free to move onto the next phase. There is NO punishment, there is NO being kept back and there is NO reward being witheld from you. Your ability to move forward in your life is directly contingent on your ability to be where you are and fully experience and internalize the lessons of that moment with ease, grace and gratitude. There is no rush, you will get it when you truly get it.

IMG_0971…. should last the whole year long.

These days we forget how much there is to enjoy about life. We get caught up in the daily grind of trying to make a living that we bypass the richness of our lives.

Life is happening RIGHT NOW, but you cannot enjoy it if you are slaving away day-in and day-out.

Life is too short to be too busy to live it. We need to create space in our lives in order to process who we are and what we want out of life. If we do not take that very critical “time-out,” we never accomplish what we need to in this life.

Busying ourselves is a distraction from greatness. Taking time out from treading the mousewheel rejuvenates us and gives us new perspective on what needs to change in our lives. Take the time and use the time to listen to your intuition and invite change in wherever it may be needed. It is only through taking these time-outs that we can truly take advantage of our lives and honestly hear what our souls need.

Time to take more vacations. Time to give yourself more space to process your level of fulfillment and happiness in the world. Remember that when you pull out of this crazy world, you can see it for what it really is… CRAZY. When you can pull out of it, you are no longer bound by the laws that govern it. You have space and time to make up new laws. It is your life, don’t spend it treading a mousewheel, spend it on vacation.

We are always pressed for it… we never have enough of it… and we always run out of it.

Time is a universally misunderstood concept. It is illusory in nature. The more we grasp for it, the more we feel deprived of it, the more it adversely affects our lives.

How we see things in life, is ultimately how they show up for us. We have a choice everyday as to how we are going to view what we have on our plates. We can choose to view our lives as “busy – leading a full and enriching life” OR we can choose to view our lives as “busy – stressed and strung out.” The choice is always ours. How we define “busy” within the structure of time makes all the difference for us.

We tend to get caught up in the drama of our schedules and our to-do lists. We let our minds run away from us and we surrender our own control over to the mind and its fluctuations (the chita vrittis) and expect that it alone will govern our wellbeing. That never works. We are the ones who are supremely in control of our thoughts and how we experience every moment.

If we could choose to be fully present in each moment, then time would expand in those moments and we would find that we would feel more relaxed and calm and more at ease. That means, be where you are – don’t project yourself ahead of you into your next meeting, next presentation, next dinner, next social obligation. If you allow yourself to experience each moment as it comes, time will slow down for you and you will be able to enjoy your day without anxiety and angst. It is when we do not live in the moment, that times speeds up for us because we are continually reaching for a moment that is NOT now but in the future. So naturally time will be rushed because our minds are running ahead of us, doing just that.

Slow down. Take a breath. Be in the moment. Savor everything the moment has to bring. When we focus on what is right in front of us, life slows down to a pace that we can work with. The choice is always yours. How do you view “busy?” Do you want to lead a full life or do you want to feel stressed out? Don’t surrender your choice to the mind. Take back control of your life.
