… it’s ALWAYS the beginning of something new.

It has to be.

One door can’t close without another one opening. Everything is energy and that energy doesn’t just go away; it needs to be redirected. Energy doesn’t just stop; it transitions into something else.

Endings must always lead somewhere new because life is cyclical and change is constant. Nothing ever stays the same. The seeds of what’s ending always fertilize a new beginning. So the question is never “what have I lost” it is “what will I create next?”

An ending is never an ending, it’s always the beginning of something new. Your work is not to lament the ending, but to focus on creating a new and better beginning.

… it’s about MAKING the time.

Time has an elusive quality — we never seem to have enough of it and we always seem to be chasing it. But little do we know — time is malleable and can be manipulated.

The most important thing to note is that — It’s not about the time; it’s about the moment. This is what we tend to lose sight of. The moment has everything you’ll ever need and when you’re in the moment, time expands — it seemingly lasts forever. Anyone who has ever stared at a clock for 15 minutes can tell you that.

But we never live in the moment. We happen to be in a moment but we are never really present to it — our minds are projecting us into the next future moment and the next and so on. So we never get to experience the depth and richness of that moment and therefore it quickly passes us by.

If we could learn that time is about being in a moment, not doing something in that moment, then we would find that we feel less rushed and less hurried and our experience of time would slow down. This is because time is an experience of being, not doing or achieving.

But many of us don’t want to be present to our lives because we don’t want to feel emotion, so it’s just easier to fill our schedules with things to do and subsequently we run out of time to do it.

Learn to look at your life differently — learn to be in the moment and feel it for everything it is offering you and let it transform you. You will soon come to see that life isn’t about finding the time to do things, it’s about making the time to be — be with yourself and be with others. When you can make that time to be present in the moment, you’ll have all the time in the world to do everything you need to do in every moment.

falling for almost… never brings you ALWAYS.

how could it?

“Always” always meets your needs, but “almost” rarely ever does. It is all in what you accept into your life. After all, you get what you accept and if what you are accepting isn’t quite cutting it, then send it back and tell the universe to try again.

“Almost” by definition doesn’t quite meet your needs. “Always” always does. Which reality do you want to fall for? The one that “almost” meets your needs or the one that “always” does.

You are worth a reality filled with always having your needs met, not almost. Almost creates a life of tension and frustration. Always awards you the happiness and satisfaction you innately deserve. Believe in yourself, you always deserve better. Don’t accept “almost” when it is put on offer, because doing so tells the universe you do not want better for yourself.

Do you want a life of “always having your needs met” or a life of “almost having them met.” The choice is yours. Aim higher and you will get higher. Prioritize yourself and your needs and recognize that always falling for “almost” can’t possibly give you “always.”

th-1… you have the time to see yourself.

When you are either in the past or a future space, you do not always have that luxury.

In life, we get caught up with the material world and how we are performing, where we are working, how we are dressing, who we are involved with, where we are living, etc…  Life gives us so many distractions and we unconsciously tend to focus all of our energy on these distractions. We drain ourselves over our daily mundane existence. We overestimate the importance of our to-do lists and we miss the bigger picture of why we are here and what we are meant to be learning/contributing. In other words, we get so busy trying to make a living, that we completely miss our lives. That is why transitions are so helpful. They can provide that much-needed time-out from life so you can regroup and get back on track.

When you are in transition, it is an enforced separation from your previous situation and because the new situation is not yet at hand, you have the time and space to focus on who you are and what you want out of life. Transitions are the perfect retreat and perfect opportunity for you to reflect upon your life.

Learn to be comfortable with yourself. Learn to allow yourself to fully embrace the energy of the transition. You do not need to have all the answers. You can spend the transition looking for them. What’s your rush? You will be delivered back into your mundane reality sooner than you realize. Enjoy the silence of the transition.
