… gives you ultimate power over your life.

Had we been taught the true power of our minds, we’d understand the power we have over our lives. After all, we’re always in full control of our lives; our lives are NEVER in control of us.

The way it works is very simple…  our thoughts govern our experiences, so in essence, we get what we think about whether we want it or not. Negative, fear-based thoughts provide negative/unfulfilling outcomes whereas positive, empowering thoughts can only manifest positive/successful outcomes. But no one ever teaches us that. No one teaches us that if we learn to control our mind, we will be better able to control the outcomes in our lives. 

In reality, we end up spending needless energy suffocating under worry, anxiety and dread only to find out that by doing so, we’ve inadvertently harnessed the power of those negative emotions and succeeded in activating them in our lives. “What, I brought this on? How could I possibly do that? It wasn’t me. All of this is happening to me, certainly not by me.” 

Newsflash… nothing is happening to you. You are co-creating every step of your life with every thought you think. And the powerful thing to note here is that you are the thinker of your thoughts, YOUR THOUGHTS ARE NOT THINKING YOU. Subsequently, you are in control of your thoughts and your thoughts are ultimately what create your reality.

You are more powerful then you realize. Your thoughts create your reality so if your thoughts are not making you happy, CHANGE THEM UNTIL THEY DO and then watch your life deliver every happy experience to you. It can be no other way.

Unknown

… you have NO choice but to change direction.

Where else can you go?

Walls are put in place for a reason – to STOP you dead in your tracks and they serve their purpose.

Think of life as a maze – you are going along smoothly and all of a sudden you hit a wall. Fine. No drama. You are stopped and you pick a new direction. The wall was your indication that you can no longer move in that direction.

It is the same thing in life – when you hit a wall, it is your indication that you are being blocked from progressing further. It is time for you to now make another decision to proceed along a new direction and chart a new course. No drama needed, only change is required. 

Hitting a wall is not a problem. Deciding to IGNORE the wall and NOT turn towards a new direction is really the problem. If the wall is there, the universe is telling you to explore other options. Of course you can use your free will and climb over the wall, but there may just be a better way to move forward in your life. Why make things difficult? If you come up against a wall. Stop and yield to it. It might be trying to tell you something. Turn towards a new direction and you may just find that it brings you to a much better place.

images…  they are unhappy with themselves.

We always want to be accepted and respected and sometimes we come up against people who it seems are never happy with anyone or anything. You know the type – the boss who you can never please; the partner who always wants you to be better; the friend who is always competing with you. Where does this come from?

It comes from an overall lack of contentedness in oneself. After all, how can you be happy with anyone if you are not happy with yourself first? This is where it begins.

If someone is feeling great about themselves, e.g. they have been losing weight, new hair cut, new job, new relationship, they are usually on top of the world and that helps them to relate better to other people. But when someone is feeling down and unhappy with their weight, sluggish, feeling not good enough at their job and with their performance in a relationship, then they find it extremely difficult to connect with others and see the beauty in others. But whose fault is that?

We tend to take on other’s unhappiness with themselves and make it about us. In those instances, it is NEVER about you. Remember you cannot control others and their opinions of you or themselves. That is not the name of the game. The name of the game is to BE HAPPY WITH YOURSELF and feel good enough in your skin so that other people’s comments and opinions simply roll off you. They should never stick to you unless you want them to.

The next time you are feeling that someone is not treating you kindly and isn’t happy with you, send them love and realize that it is not you that they are unhappy with, it is themselves. For if they were truly happy with themselves, they would be able to communicate with you in a much more fair, kind and motivating fashion. If they are being unkind, unfair or mean, it is most likely about them. Never make other’s unhappiness with themselves about you. It is your happiness with yourself that is the key to setting you free. Are you happy with yourself?

images… is the ONLY way to reveal the good.

Believe it or not, there is NO bad. There is only our perception of bad that makes it real for us.

Any event we may perceive as “bad” in our lives only happens in order to bring us to a better place. All challenges and obstacles whether it be job loss, loss of a loved one, bankruptcy, illness, etc… are purely illusions put in our way so that we can learn how to be strong in ourselves and strive to make our lives better because of it. So bad is a catalyst for good – but only if you rise to the challenge and overcome it. If you choose to buy into the bad, you can make it yours for all of eternity and wear it as a jaded badge of honor. But why would you do that?

Bad is only present until you do the work on transforming it. Then bad becomes the highest version of good you could have ever dreamed up for yourself. It is the way the universe works. It doesn’t matter what has happened to you in your childhood or as an adult, your work is to make your life better because of having had those experiences. When you make positive change for yourself, not only does your life improve, but you inspire others to do the same.

When you consciously choose to break bad, the universe always conspires with you to bring you to the most optimal outcome of good. But when you unconsciously continue to accept the bad that is hurled at you and begin to identify with it everyday, the universe will continue to throw you more bad in the form of lessons until you finally succeed in burying yourself beneath a shroud of depression and sadness.

Are you ready to break bad? Your life is waiting to get good. Let’s start transforming it. You will be rewarded every step of the way.

Only movement initiates action.

Whatever changes you would like to make in your life require some type of movement, strategic movement NOT “busy” movement. Strategic movement has the intention of bringing about change. Busy movement is activity that uses your energy but doesn’t bring about the desired result (e.g. being too busy at work to have the time to look for a new job or spending your time trying to fix a relationship when the other person is doing nothing).

Strategic movement is movement to initiate change NOT propagate the same stasis. Be honest with yourself and ask yourself if you see your actions as helping you move forward or keeping you stuck in your own patterns.

It’s very simple, if you are standing still, you cannot move forward. And if you are looking behind you, you cannot move forward. You can only move forward by making the extreme effort to do so.

We keep ourselves back in life by not allowing ourselves to move forward but instead, we stand still and complain about the situation. Staying in the situation and bemoaning it will only charge it with more negativity and unhappiness. 

Time to break the cycle. Staying never gets you anywhere. If you want to move forward, you have to bring in a type of strategic movement or change that will NOT allow you to look back at your past, but push you forward into your dreams. Nothing else will do.

ignorance-is-bliss1… or is it?

If ignorance is bliss, then why aren’t more people happy? Truth is burying your head in the sand does very little to help you heal difficult emotions.

Your emotions are an internal barometer to what is going on in your life. If you are unhappy at all, it is a sign to you that something is wrong and that some part of your life requires attention. 

But we are so busy day-in and day-out, that we do not make the time to check-in with our emotions. We go on automatic pilot and just work off our to-do lists and wonder why happiness continues to elude us?

Here’s the deal… Ignoring your emotions will never make you feel better. It’s an avoidance strategy. It’s much easier to try and anesthesize yourself against those painful emotions then it is to address them head-on and ask yourself how you can transform them to get what you need out of life?

Your emotions tell you everything you need to know about what’s going on with you. If you’re wondering what’s going on with your life in particular and why things are feeling so painful, sad, chaotic, frustrating, angering, depressing or anxious, take a look at these emotions and start to ask yourself why you are feeling them? What or who is causing them? And what would it take to feel better?

Shedding the simple light of consciousness on these emotions will make all the difference in the world with how you feel and how you experience your life. Listen to your emotions, they are telling you what is wrong and what specifically needs healing. Trust me, ignorance is NEVER bliss. Bliss comes about only through conscious healing of your emotionality. Many things in life are meant to be easy; ignorance is something that makes life very hard.
